This is the day where all of your hard work is recognized. You’ll stand proud in your cap and gown alongside the friends and fellow students you’ve met along your journey. Family and guests will surround you to witness the moment and be part of your celebration. The pomp and circumstance reflect the greatness of your accomplishment.

Location: Michael A. Carroll Stadium
Professional photographs will be taken of each degree candidate at IU Indianapolis Commencement.
You’ll receive detailed instructions and an identification card in the robing area. Search for your photos online after Commencement.
Diploma covers are only presented to those graduates who participate in IU Indianapolis Commencement in May. Each school has its own method for distributing diplomas. Contact your school if you have any questions about receiving yours.
You can order frames online.
After the ceremony, you must return your graduation apparel to Herff Jones using the prepaid label provided. You can also reuse the shipping box. Failure to return apparel may result in a fine!
Alcoholic beverages, fireworks, balloons, and signs are not allowed at Commencement. Please respect your fellow graduates and refrain from bringing these items.
Event organizers and venues will not be responsible for lost items.
