If you’re attending the Commencement ceremony, you must wear the custom IU apparel. Simply rent your cap and gown from Herff Jones.

After the ceremony, you must return your apparel to Herff Jones using the prepaid shipping label provided. You may also reuse the shipping box. Failure to return apparel may result in a fine. Request a missing shipping label here.
All associate and bachelor's students need to return their gown. They will keep their cap, tassel, and stole.
All master's and doctoral students need to return their gown and hood. They will keep their cap/tam and tassel.
